Our day out

So today we had no particular plans and were sitting around the living room dying to be outside and steal the 3 seconds of nice weather we were to have before another wet spell. Andy suggested based on recommendation of a neighbor that there is this park that you can feed the ducks at. So we all run and get ready to go with our baggy of bread excited. We enjoy a nice lunch and head off to this new magical park that we've built up in our heads to be the best place ever. We get there and it's a park in the middle of a business park with two random ducks that happen to be crashing a pond. I don't think it was intended for them at all. We're so desperate to make a fun time of it that we get out of the car still hopeful. My contact choses this time to start scratching my retina like no other time before. Mason choses this time to poop. The wind also decides to start gusting chilling the temperature 5 degrees chillier that didn't need anymore cooling off. And as all these things come together and crash Andy and my hopes of fun to the ground poor Ava is still standing there excited in her hoodie holding her baggy of bread waiting to feed the magical ducks. Not wanting to ever ever crush that excitedness we all suit up and head to the pond. Mason is screaming the entire time because after his poop is cleaned up he decides he wants to eat. It was just so comically horrible for everyone! And totally oblivious to this entire debacle is Ava still standing there with her bread happier than I've seen her in months tossing her bread at the ducks yelling at the brown duck for eating the blue duck's food. OH I love that girl! Then on the way back the best part is she is so tuckered out from this spectacle that was this trip to the park she refuses to hold my hand walking across the street so we put her in the stroller except she doesn't quite get her feet in so they are propped on the tray. It makes us feel like we've stolen a shopping cart from a city corner and halfway down the street a bum that was sleeping in it wakes up drunk and is pissed more than anything that we've stolen his home and him in it. Flailing and mad trying to get out of it. POOR AVA!

Mason just pissed and done with us on the way home.

Andy just badly wanting to be home.

Me laughing at the entire situation and Ava just wanting to kill me for daring to take a picture at this particular time.

I don't wanna go home! I want to "play ducks".
"I feed the ducks"
You can actually hear Mason crying in the background! OH MAN! LOL!
