What We've Been Up To

It feels like longer than 2 weeks since I've last posted but time don't lie do it? We just said good bye to our family this past Saturday. We had Michelle, Mitchell, and Lauren come for the week and then saw Pat and Mindy plus Sophia and Aurora for the 4th of July and then again when they traveled back home from Seattle. It was a total blast!! There was so much fun to be had and we totally lived it up.  Our neighborhood has this summer come to life with tons of fun events and it's been great to partake. We've got a good bunch and I'm loving every second of it. My stomach is literally sore from all the laughing we've been doing! And the kids are tanned and dirty all the time and having the best summer. It's good times! I'm sad that M&M&L had to go home though. I think there was a large campaign of people hoping they'd buy a house on our block so we wouldn't have to leave them out of the fun ever.  I had a nice cry when they left. Our house felt so empty and while it's good to get back to the routine we can't wait for them to get the heck back up here! I'm still waiting for Mitchell to send me all his edited pictures since I gave up on my own camera and let him do the dirty work but here are some ones I've collected from various places.

For a large part of the week we lived like we were camping. We had the badminton net set up in the front yard all week and switched between that and lawn nards.

Ava and Mason last week also got to go have a day in Seattle. They ate lunch with Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Mike, and Jake and then saw Pike's Place. They wouldn't stop talking about the flying fish! And the fish guts some guy dumped out. Mason kept saying "YUUUCKKKK MAMA! YUCK!"
