Bandit Boy Gets A New Bed

Last Friday I took the kids to the grocery store after work to stock up on provisions and since the kids made it through sitting in the racecar cart without killing each other I let them each pick a toy. Ava got a pencil sharpener which she mysteriously lost from the checkout stand to the car (thanks nice Safeway lady for letting her get another one) and Mason got this rocking plastic cowboy and bandit set. He's worn the badge every day since Friday and for awhile was also the bandit....till that mask broke sadly. It was good fun for him!

This is how she spends all day every day now. She is constantly coloring and writing and singing and asking questions. She's so cute....she found out about vowels and that her name has 2 "vyles" as she calls them. She can't say the word to save her life. Even Mason was screaming VOWEL at her tonight while we tried to get her to pronounce it correctly. She'll get there.

Ava and Jojo got to go to their friends birthday......at the beauty school! They got their nails done and their hair curled and to munch on lots of tasty treats. It was super cute to watch. And they ended up looking so beautiful. And my "favorite" was the sparkles on their hair!

Well it's totally the end of an era in this house! NO MORE NURSERY thanks to Craig's List!!!!!!!!!!! It's completely bittersweet because we made such good lookng babies. But at the same time it's exciting to think about all that's to come and all the fun that comes from having kids rather than babies. And they can always be my babies no matter what their age so two is a good balance for us. So! Mason got a new bed and amazingly tonight at Home Goods we found a quilt that exactly matches his room. I think it was all meant to be! I'm excited and can't wait to get him a better mattress as this is just a freebie hand-me-down from our friends. It was blatantly obvious we had to get a better one and one with box spring after putting it on a brand new bed and making the bed with all the new blankets. It'll do but it'll also be nice to get a better one soon!
