Winter, you guys. It sucks the life out of a person! It seems like there was nothing and something going on all at once since the beginning of the year. Lack of sun really honestly means lack of motivation and desire to do the above and beyond - like blog. Sometimes, you just caught up living I guess. We've been out and about and all at the same time doing not much of anything. The kids have been pretty happy building Lego Hero Factory guys and making rainbow loom bracelets. And so much Minecraft. I'm excited for the spring ahead of us to get them outside and riding bikes. Though, Ava must be doing something right. She received a very good report card from school for Fall semester. And we got told Mason has been kicking pre-K booty and is far ahead of his classmates.
Rainbow looms and You Tube make for a super hot Friday night.
Duh - these aren't bread sticks they are for walrusing!
One day we had sun and despite it being completely frigid we partook!
It was really fun because you could watch prop planes land from this spot.
This guy keeps sneaking into our bed
Mason had a day off from school that the girls didn't since he's in a different school district for Pre-K.......so we checked out OMSI
This girl is crazy
And also just lovely
And a good friend
And fun loving
So a few weeks ago, we got some serious snow. The schools closed early so I was off to rescue these guys.
At first it was cute. Look at that little dusting..........
Oh, I'll just set up camp here and work for the afternoon and be back in the morning.
Hmmmm this is getting more serious.....
CRAP. Guess Andy and friends are gonna be very late getting home. (Our friend, Adam - 6 hour drive home. He was maybe 15 miles away)
Well guess this is sticking around awhile longer..........
Snow day tomorrow? Sure, fall asleep watching iPad.
Then, well it's Friday tomorrow......yeah lets just work from home tomorrow too.
We had so much cabin fever
Mason did this again the next night
The dogs were happy we were home so much though! And Cooper loves the snow.
Then like that weird snowstorm never happened it was Valentine's Day!
We are hosting a Flat Stanley for one of my supplier's grandson in Ohio. We took him to OMSI
And to this sign
Washington's world's oldest apple tree!
Can't forget the trains
Or the trees
And our bridges
