Ava has been having a lot of interest (finally) in doing her hair. Tonight she asked for a ponytail and I put it on the top of her head and told her it was her princess crown...this pleased her immensely! I think she can pull off the look.
We also went to the beach this past Sunday. SO MUCH FUN! I forgot how much I had missed the ocean and as soon as I saw it my stress level was cut in half. Growing up by the ocean you take it granted but when you can't see it all the time it's definately exciting to go back. Wish we lived a lot closer to it! Ava had a blast and was a total beach bum. She just wanted to dig and dig!! She keeps asking to go back. Going to have to make a monthly trek there this entire summer I think. It was fun and spur of the moment and I'm so glad our awesome friends invited us along!

We dug ourselves some sand seats...turns out they make excellent baby holders too!
