Trip Outnumbered and OMG what did I come home to????
This past weekend my cousin Jake graduated from high school. We've been planning on making this trip since before I even found out I was pregnant with Mason. Come to find out Andy ended up on call and couldn't leave town...but I wasn't about to let that be a reason we didn't come to represent! The kids did awesome and my aunt, uncle, and cousins were a great help. Ava wants to go back right now and has been sleeping with the happy face balloon Aunt Carolyn got her as a present ever since we got home. So I arrive home all proud that I did the drive by myself and am getting in gear to prepare for our upcoming trip to San Diego later this week....Andy opens the front door and HOLY TOLEDO my house is upside down!!!!! Our house was built circa 1996 and has all the bells and whistles of 1990's architecture....white washed oak backsplashes for the counters; gaping tall ceilings; walled in staircase; but the worst was these horrible 24 ft beams encasing our fireplace that made the thing look like a friggin goal post. Well. Our house still has all the rest of a classic 1990's house but no longer do I have that goal post. God I love Andy for taking them out for me...but he needs to work on his timing!
Waiting for the silly hats to arrive (the only way to make a graduation exciting for a 2 year old is to say look at the silly hats those graduates wear! It worked!
Jake walking the plank to real life...er um...the graduation processional.
Mason wondering why we took him here. He HATED the cheering. Poor little man.
Oops. Mason felt the need to crash this picture.
