So my boss tipped us off this past Friday on a tree farm out yonder by her house. It was so great! I firmly believe we've been ripped off for the past several years getting a tree up here. We usually go to this other farm down the road from the new place and spend clear near $100 buckaroos on a tree that dies on us instantly (we'll ignore the fact we constantly forget to water the sucker). We had the best time going to pick it out! The kids were having a blast playing hide and seek through the trees and we had fun chasing them. We were there for about an hour playing around until we realized we should probably take it seriously and find a tree. We scoured through and then guess where we found the winner? Right in front of our car! So funny. It made putting it on the car super easy though! Andy pointed out one I was eyeing at the same time so it was kind of neat that we both latched on to the same one all at once. It was good timing too because Mason and Ava had both had enough by this point. This tree though is seriously the hugest tree we've ever gotten and by far the prettiest! And we only paid $25!!!! SCORE! And we didn't have to fight any crowds and the people were just super nice. It was awesome. The tree is also like easily 9 or 10 feet tall! We even branched (no pun intended) out from the Noble we usually get and got a Grand Fir. Oh yeah...that's living on the edge! I'm a convert now and won't be going back. I just love this thing.

| Here it is all decorated! I have been "borrowing" my mom's cranberry beads for some time now and I ran out since this tree is so huge so they are half strung around the tree in some spots. I think it adds "character". |

| On our way! |
| I've called dibs on this tree 5 years from now |
| We were having a good time! |
| I think this picture is just yummy |
| Ava took this one! |
| Mason took this one - I look like a giant from his angle! |
| This is in front of our tree but my arms are too short to capture. Should have asked Andy to take this one! |
| Aunt Carolyn pointed out that Ava looked like an elf in this picture - she was so right! |
| We attempted Christmas card pictures...........this one is super - but we're missing Andy |
| This one has Andy but you can tell we had a long and fun day and we all look so tired - you can't put that on a card. Plus note the blue storage tub in the lower right hand corner and the Buzz Lightyear gun I confiscated behind me - although that could be croppped. I'm thinking we'll go green and forgo the Christmas card this year unless I get a bug up my butt this weekend to try again. We also had one with Cooper but it looked like Andy was strangling him. Hilarious! |

| This is the new favorite pastime at our house. Thomas the Train! |
| I tried my hand at Susie Homemaker this weekend and made my own laundry soap. I LOVE IT! Well ok I didn't realize that it took overnight to set and I had about 123 loads of laundry to do so I bought a small bottle at the store to keep us in clean clothes so I haven't actually used this stuff. BUT it smells fantastic and I can't wait to actually start using it. |

| Suds up! |
