Things have been so quiet the past few months that these past four days have been super nuts. But also super fun. Andy unfortunately had to take another sad trip down south for another funeral. This makes number 5 for us and at this point it's just numbing. We were glad he was able to be there for the service and represent us since it wasn't realistic for us all to attend. He sounded like he had a good time despite the sad circumstances for his trip. I was glad Mitchell kicked his butt at some tennis and that he got to spend a night out with Pat and Mindy plus of course see his parents and show our support of the difficult time they are going through. While the cat was away up here us mice played. The kids and I had a nice night watching movies and eating Top Ramen. Our BFF's showed up randomly and it was fun to spend the night with them. We also go to web cam with Carry and it looks like I'm going to be heading south this fall to meet a new little bundle of joy. I'm so excited and just had to give a little shout out to Baby Perez!! SO EXCITED! (sorry Carry for the thunder stealing though I think Norm takes the cake on that one - we need to talk about that! Heehehee!) Before we had the news of Andy's trip I had planned a girl's night out with my friends and so when Andy had to be gone it was sort of jeopardized. We were going to see a show that didn't start till 10pm so a baby sitter wasn't possible but thankfully my friend at work offered to watch the kids overnight. A night off entirely by myself was greatly appreciated! I had the best time though as soon as I got home I missed everyone who usually lives there. The kids and I yesterday after taking a long drive through the country because the drawback to my overnight sitter was that she lives an hour away in the country we went to the zoo. It was so much fun! Ava and Mason had a blast! Mason walked the entire zoo and was so pleased with himself and Ava chilled in the stroller. What can I say....she's my daughter and if there's a rolling seat she's gonna take it and chill out!

Blueberries are these kids favorites. They devoured two packages. Thank you Safeway for having a buy 1 get 2 free special. Jasmine made the kids stop eating finally for fear of the poos.

| This guy was SOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! He had this little piece of cardboard as a bed and a blanket and he'd move the bed wherever he went to lay on it and would drape the blanket over his head and peak out. oh man! I wanted to hug him! |
| The gazelles were dramarama. They were like the Real Housewives of the Oregon Zoo picking on one of the other gazelles and chasing her everywhere! Mason was fascinated though. |
| That's my girl! Mason's 2 and running all over the place. Ava's 4 and was like yeah I'm just gonna chill out. She rode the entire time with her legs crossed! |
| Crap outta order. My mom is the BEST! I had this doll when I was little and it got accidentally thrown away due to a lice outbreak/quarantine issue and she found it again at a garage sale! It's so great! Ava loves him. |
