Super fun was had by us this weekend! We've been collecting snow gear for the past month and we finally completed the gathering last week. It was perfect timing because we had the best day at the snow! It wasn't too windy and it wasn't THAT cold though we had some cold toesies on the kids when we got back to the car. Mason was horribly timid at first and I took some time adjusting to the altitude or maybe that was just hiking up a mountain holding on to a 30lb super bundled up 2 year old! So I was initially thinking OH BOY what did we get ourselves into. But then we got to our spot and had the best time ever. Mason was fearless going down on the sled and Ava was a natural. She even omitted the sled a few times choosing to go down the hill just on her tummy!! I couldn't believe when we got back to the car that we were out there sledding for 2 hours without any problem. Ava woke up yesterday and asked to go back and I was feeling the same way. I always considered myself pretty much an inside girl with that stuff but I realized I think I'm just a gear snob. With the proper snow pants and shoes it was actually a lot of fun! Andy may actually get me on the slopes after all. Who knew!

| Crud...I don't know why this is sideways. I came home on Friday night to a present with this written on it. I just love that! |
| And inside the package was this Kindle!! I've already read one book and am 30% through the next one. OH man I'm in heaven! He did so good! And apparently you can read the screen still in broad daylight so Andy pointed out that I'll be able to read this in the hammock during the summer....need I say more?!?! Plus I'm going on a work trip next month so I'm loving how thin it is to stick in my purse for the plane ride. It's just a great great present! Thank you again babycakes! |

| I found Mason a Buzz shirt that he was SO proud of. He wore it Friday night as soon as I showed it to him and it was clean in his closet this morning so back on it went! I'm going to go have to get him another one. |

| Here they go! |
| He loves this sled - it was a last minute buy and the favorite for the day. |
| sad I missed the snow ball Andy was throwing but still a keeper |
| LOL! She was getting eaten by her snow gear! And making a snow angel! |
| They were so much fun there! It made us realize how much fun we're going to get to have in a few years when they're old enough to do more things like this. We talked about backpacking and all the fun stuff we've been benched from the past few years while having kids back to back. It made us excited for the future! |
| I love his hat hair! |
| St Valentine brought treats! |
| And Mason hoarded all the smarties immediately the little bugger! |
