Nothing really spectacular happened this past week but I felt the need to blog about it anyways. I took minimal pictures so sorry for this rather boring post. It's just been awesomely regular at home. We've been putting the house back together after a rather long domestic strike. Me with cleaning the nasty that was on every surface of the house and Andy with laundry which was a feat in itself. We've been living off the food that we had from the Fourth because I bought for an army when my sisters and Mitchell came and we barely touched it so we finally needed to re-stock after living off the stash for a month. It felt good. We had some friends over for dinner and enjoyed that and Ava played with her little friends. I so love hearing our door bell ring and Ava opening the door to two little girls with bike helmets on asking her to come ride bikes. It's just adorable! We also got Ava's back pack and lunch box ordered plus all her school supplies. Last week the school clothes I ordered came in and actually passed her approval. I think we're set with the exception of a few items! It's great because now we can just kick back and enjoy the rest of the summer without having to worry about last minute shopping sprees and panic of getting that all squared away. We're also gearing up to take a camping trip next weekend for Ava's birthday. It's just the four of us going up to a lake. It should be a good time! When I re-did our calendar for August it was a nice sigh of relief to see that we had blank weeks after an extremely jam packed past 2 months. This I'm sure will be a temporary thing but I'm for one going to fully enjoy it while it lasts!
