Camera Schamera

So as you all know I suffered the loss of my lovely camera last weekend. It took me a week of pondering to realize what do I want? The answer - my 5 year old Kodak I never bothered to use because I simply had zero time. Who wants to fiddle with settings when you have a screaming baby? Ok I still have screaming babies but now I can tell them to hold on a sec while I fiddle with my buttons! I SUCK and I do mean suck at it and don't pretend to have this huge hobby of being brillant at taking awesome photos because I'm just not gifted like that. I leave those talents to Mitchell and his awesomeoness of doing so. But I do have a pretty nice camera to fiddle with and am excited to learn more about it!

Someone's a pissy pants and his name is Mason

Dude........check out my awesome flower!!!!!!

I somehow figured out how to get it do do that blurry background thing I covet so!

TWICE! Probably cuz I didn't fiddle with buttons in between shots! Mason's getting some brows - damn they are lush.

Just in case you were curious it also can stiill do self portraits. Oh what a wonderful "free" camera this was!

It was HOT today. The girls had fun playing in the water. Note our electrical taped pool.........we may have to upgrade next year!

Soaking up the last of summer with some good old Otter Pops

Such cuteness!

At dinner tonight Ava wanted to be an Italian Man - get it! A SPAGHETTI MOUSTACHE AHAHAAHAHAHA!

What makes this fantastic is that Andy is in the background of Andy wearing the same shirt! heeheeeheeeeeeee!

Such the little man

I love this profile

Pouty face

Curious face?

Ava today caught a freakishly large dragonfly!
This was Ava's first homework ever! #1 task was sort of a fail - TAKE HOMEWORK HOME! She didn't. But she did the next day and we got it all right - I think.  They had a lovely teddy bear picnic on Friday and she's in love with this bear that had been sitting on Mason's shelf in his room for the past almost 3 years. So I'll call it a win. :)
