So Andy and I have been crazy hard at work on the kitchen. I decided it would probably be best to freshly paint the walls before the bench went in permanently which was a great idea in theory but once I started - OMG was it a bigger room than I thought. It's was super worth it though to have fresh and clean shiny walls and to take out the drab. The kitchen has had a slightly depressing feeling to it for the past year or so and I couldn't place it but the new paint is a fresh update and feels fantastic. I wish I could say it looks drastically different but it doesn't. It's just a little lighter and a lot less green but whatevs. It feels good and that's what matters! So while I was crazily painting like a freak and Andy was trying to finish the bench we also figured since we didn't have anything going on...... HA!........to also attempt to help Mason figure out the potty. It didn't work. A co-worker of mine pointed out you can't force motivation and that surely is the case with Mason and the potty. But so in between accidents and whatever at the end of the weekend we had an almost fancy pants new kitchen! We had hopes of tackling the counters too but quite honestly.........we're tired. They can wait for another day! Plus first we have to figure out the sewing machine so we can make the slipcover for the pad and do up some throw pillows!
