Wooheeee! Have we gotten some snow! At first I was pretty sure all the weather reports were making a big ole deal about nothing. Then we woke up Friday and for once they got it right! I was scoffing at it because it was just a light dusting and come on...I have AWD. And quite honestly I have used the snot outta that the last few days! It pays off...we didn't use it at all last year so it was kind of scary and exciting to have it kick in for the first time. At first you think for sure you broke your car and then you realize it's helping you and making magical things happen to your tires and you kind of silently cheer it on. Anyways I digress. Friday, after sitting on the freeway for an hour and a half and barely making it one freeway exit, Andy and I took a snow day and enjoyed the white. Today it was pretty icy and they cancelled school for Ava yet Mason's still was on oddly. Since his is located on a mountain and hers is not. Random I tell ya! Although he's a different school district so they all get to make their own calls so whichever. It all worked out thanks for our happy little village of friends who take turns calling in sick for these sorts of things.
So....this happened.....HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!

This was my traffic.....I bailed and went down one more exit about 2 miles down the road to take the overpass and come back east. The car I was in back of hadn't even moved in the time it took me to do that!
