Ava had her first trip to the dentist this morning and she did great! I think we were both a little overwhelmed by the entire process. The whole office is just insane. Pottery Barn Kids has puked on her entire office so everything is very cute and very appealing to little kids. There was murals and a train that went around the whole office for the kids to watch. There was fireworks going off on the ceiling and pictures of kitties and fairies. And a whole room full of toys for Ava to pick from when she was done. She did great, too! No cavities and she let them take an x-ray of her mouth and clean her teeth. It was pretty comical to me because the dentist totally looked like Harold of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle! LOL! VERY FUNNY! He was great with Ava and sang to her badly while he was checking out her teeth. I'm proud of our little girl! She was excited to take her picture in the "No Cavity Zone" and bring it home to her daddy adn Mason to show them. She talked about the whole way home how happy she was to show them! They also said that her mouth is perfect and "money in the bank" since she has so many gaps between her teeth that once her permanent teeth come in there will be plenty of space for them to grow in straight. Keeping our fingers crossed with that one!
