A Nice Long Break
Vacation achieved! We just rocked a week and a half in San Diego and it was great! Especially since half of us hadn't been down in about six months. It was neat to get some feedback about how much the kids have grown. Sometimes you don't realize how much they've matured until someone else points it out. I was glad that all of the remarks were positive too rather than "get your kid outta my house!" The first part of our trip was spent celebrating Mimi's birthday and getting ready for Carry's wedding. Ava got a girl day with the bridal party the day before the wedding. She got her first manicure and pedicure and I think she's hooked now! Even though Ava slept through the whole ceremony I was glad she came. She talks about Carry's wedding every day ever since asking me if I had fun and telling me one day she's going to get married like Carry. And then she informs me that I'm married and she's going to look like a princess at her wedding like I did at mine....we just got our our Christmas stuff and there is a picture from Andy and my wedding so she's in love with that. It's neat to hear her so interested in it all. Makes me realize that she's starting memories she'll have as an adult of when she was a little kid dreaming of her wedding. So sweet! Anyways after the wedding I have to admit I was pretty tanked and we spent the rest of the time chilling out and eating and seeing the beach. I was glad we got to spend so much time with our family since we don't get to very often. And was happy the kids enjoyed them so much! Ava even told me that she wanted to move into Nana's house and I should just send her stuff to her. Michelle and I are convinced it's because of all the movies Michelle has.
I'm pretty sure Mason was a fish in his past life. He must insert himself into any available water....even his Mimi's bird bath.

Awww they love each other!
GO BOLTS! This is Mason's new favorite toy. He plays with it non stop. Glad if he does like football he's built like a football player. I won't have to worry about him getting killed out there as much.
