We had a very sweet week making a gingerbread house and having ice cream night. All in good fun of the holidays - just ignore the consequences till new year, right?! Last night after daycare and work Ava informed me she didn't want to go home - she wanted to go shopping. I wasn't about to turn that down because I'm a big fat sucker so we went to the store and found a cool gingerbread house to make; Ava a new pair of princess jammies; and Mason some snacks...she also asked "please get some ice cream" so we loaded up on strawberry ice cream while we were at it. Gotta love Walmart Superstore! We had a good time with our purchases when we got home so it was well worth the trip. Both the kids have immensely enjoyed themselves this holiday season! I love how considerate Ava has been about wanting to buy other people presents and how Mason points out the window in the car in awe at the houses lit up. Can't wait for next week when they see what Santa brings!
