We can see the light!

Here is the reason for my title - we're ALMOST finished with the living room! It's very clutch! We still have those pesky bookcases to flank the fireplace and we have to extend the hearth and grout the tile on the fireplace and redo the moldings and re-finish the floors. Plus I am changing out the curtains for some lovely white ones to blow gracefully in the spring and summer breeze but other than that I'd say we're about 85% there! SO HAPPY! This weekend Andy rented some scaffolding and finally put in the ceiling fan that has been sitting in it's box for the past month. It went in pretty fast and smoothly and it's just great! I am not a huge fan of ceiling fans but this one gets my juices flowing. I just love the lights that are on it! And I to admit - it will be handy in the summer to cool this place. It's just very comfy! WIN FOR US!

It's been feeling like spring has sprung the past few days which has brought us into the yard. It's awesome except for when we realized that Cooper has torn it to shreds this past winter. We are going to have our weekends cut out for us once it truly gets warm cleaning things up and making it lovely....and to do that we will - we've got some fun plans for back there to tackle this summer. Should be good! Anyways. Here are the kids being cute back there.

the boys - Andy is growing a 'stache and goatee combo please note that this is the growth he has after THREE WEEKS. Hopefully by Vegas he'll be sporting a lush one.
