We were quite the busy bees this weekend! Andy and Ava had fun together on Saturday morning and then joined Mason, our friend Erin, and I in the town next to us to antique a little. We had a really nice lunch and just a good day all around. I was trying to convince Andy to let us buy this awesome antique hutch/bookcase thing but he was not having it! LOL! We continued the treasure hunt and went to Portland the next day which sparked us getting this fantastc lighting fixture for the kitchen for only $65! It's such a find! I can't wait to post pictures of it. Poor Mason was under the weather so we had an extra stay home day yesterday. It gave us a chance to relax in the punky weather we're having and be cozy in the house. Can't complain with the last few days we've had. Last night we had our first family dinner at our new kitchen table. OMG I love it so much I had to blog about it.How cheesy is that? I didn't even make anything great - just spaghetti but the kids ate it up like it was candy so it was a win I think!
I've been having a really hard time having a dog so Andy and Ava bought me flowers to help. She just loved them! Cooper ate some - hence my "really hard time having a dog" mood I've been in.
Having her morning "coffee"
Sick boy
HAMBONE
Ava got a new Easter dress - she's worn it for 2 days straight! I hope it makes it to Easter. Oh man though. So annoying she hates the zipper so once she gets in the car she has to unzip it to ride in her carseat - she's a special one.
Finally feeling a little better - look at his chompers!
My steal of a deal! I found this great little table at Camas Antiques for Ava to do her craft projects on and to keep her little playset pieces off the floor. It was soooo cheap as was the stool. I have to find Mason a stool but I refuse to pay more than $10 for it. It's part of my treasure hunt!
Enjoying our first family dinner at our new table. This gargantuan thing has two more seats that we can't figure out where to put. I think we're just going to store them till we need them. It's SO nice to have a real table finally and not the K-Mart special we were sporting. Mason already bit the table. It was really upsetting till I realized now we have those bite marks recorded in time since I think we'll keep this table for a looooonnnng time. SO it's more cute than upsetting. Love the bench! Mason sits really good at it and no more high chair in the house! WOOHOOO! Can't wait for our floors to match the table's stain - that'll be so great!
