What a fun weekend we had!

This weekend we didn't sit down much at least until nighttime and it was super fun!! Saturday we went and got Mason's wagon that his nana bought him and it took it's maiden voyage at the zoo. I don't know if this was the best idea for me. I have "invisible" syndrome where people are oblivious to me and I could not navigate the thing through any crowd. Our friend Lisa came to the rescue and she had the proper assertiveness to get it through. :) I ended up hoofing Mason in the backpack while Andy steered the thing the rest of the time which was it's own set of "fun" for my back. Hopefully Mason will like sitting in the wagon sooner or later. Still the kids and their friends had a blast in the thing but I don't know if I'll bring it back until we go during the week when the masses aren't there.

Ava drew a rainbow on the way to the zoo. It was pretty cute!

Mr Mason all super serious

How many kids can we cram on a tractor? Hmmmm......

Having some lunch!

Super cute polar bear

The kids checking him out.........look at Ava! There was some poop right by him and she thought it was WAY stinky!

Mason and I looking at the sun bears

Sunday we took a trip out east. This was especially exciting for Andy and I since we've never been that far east up here. It was a beautiful day for a drive! We drove out to the high desert to dig for some Thunder Eggs. My camera died at the end of this trip so I neglected to take any pictures of the actual eggs we found but they were pretty neat. You got to off road out to the dig site and then take your findings back to the shop where they crack them open and reveal the coolness inside. We're super glad we went!

Massive mountain of trees! It was so pretty!

Off to Madras we go!

So we went from the wall of trees to this! We felt like we were back in Cali a little.

Peacock! Oh man did Mason love these guys!

This bear is so adorable....and ok....so is Ava

Mr Froggie

Seriously....don't touch. These guys were growling at us.

S'Ok Mr Cow - we all know you're blocking the entire road but we'll wait for you to drink your water.

Doing a little off roading.

Super pretty!

Digging for some thunder eggs!

LOL! Being a little man.

Their search was over and they needed to be contained! At least Mason did.
