Best Weekend Ever!

Kharma was being nice to us after a particularly annoying week...we had the best weekend we've had probably all summer! And actually the annoyance of the week wasnt as bad as it could have been. Our A/C went out on us out on us during the hottest point of the week - LAME! But Andy pulled an Andy and was able to piece it back together for $45. Love that Handy Andy! We actually got a babysitter which seeing as we havent been out together alone since January was a HUGE HUGE deal for us. The kids did awesome with her and it was nice to spend some time out being adults rather than shepherds like we seem to always be with the kids. We actually had a conversation that didn't get interrupted. Who knew that was possible? Saturday we went to the beach and our awesome friends joined us and today we had a nice BBQ at my co-worker's house and found a great spot to hike. Cooper seems to be calming down enough to allow us to do more stuff with him which has been nice since for the past 2 months I felt like all we've done is yell at the dog. I thought I was going to go insane if I heard his name screamed in my house one more time...except I think I have slightly dropped my basket regardless. The beach helped calm me down a lot though this weekend. I finally feel like I've put myself together again a little and made some peace after the whole dog adjustment. I think I'm just a cat person!

Feeding the chickens
Mason LOVED this wagon. He gigled the entire time he was in there. I see a birthday present on the horizon.

Between the barn and the JD wagon...I dont know man. I just hear bangos playing but Mr. Man seemed right at home. OH BOY...maybe we should move back to SD! :) J/K!

On our hike today. Coop Dawg and Ava taking a break.

This may be a framable picture. It makes me feel cozy.
Note the Ava pose.

This is Ava concuring her fear of bridges. She walked across the bridge slowly this way. I swear it took her 30 minutes. But she actually was excited about bridges after that so it was well worth the wait.
I swear I'm not choking Cooper in this picture despite the way it looks.

OK so we cut Masons hair today. It was a disaster. Next time we are not going to be cheap. The boy has really bad hair now. I'm so sorry Mason.

Andy in the act. I don't know why he chose such a close crop. I almost cried. I had to leave the room.

Mason was chill with it though.
Caksies at the beach loving her some sand. She is in her element there. I think the beach is deeper in my genes than I realized. We all totally relax while there.

Coop shaking it out

Playing in the sand together. Note my warm and cold blooded child.

Snazzay!

SOOOO BIG!
Ohhhh so artsy fartsy!

Making a break for it!
DERRRRPHHH - I swear is the general expression of Cooper
