Last weekend Mason and I took a trip down to San Diego for my BFF Carry's bridal shower (which was a hit in my opinion). I was also able to attend my old boss's wedding which was very pretty and such a good time to catch up with all my old work buddies from TEAL and to have a nice night out with my other BFF Carrie. Which we sadly realized hadn't happened since she had her daughter six years ago! It was a nice relaxing visit to SD which rarely happens and it was most enjoyed. The only few catastrophies were missing my flight home (oops) and forgetting my cell phone at my mom's house. Oh and I ridiculously had a hard time hobbling through the airport terminals still all gimped up from last week's fall..but all summed up it was well worth the trip and I wish every trip to SD was like that one! I am eternally grateful to my mom who basically let me leave Mason with her most of the weekend! They had a great time together though. Andy and Ava didn't just sit around up here bored. Ava had her first swim lesson and did awesome! She loved it! Andy got a little kerplemfed and said she just seemed so grown up doing it. They saw a movie and had a nice lunch together. Andy taught her all about traffic signals, too! It was nice to see the two of them bond so well. It's nice now that she lets him do more things with her and allows me to do more stuff for Mason. Especially during our bed time routine.

Best buds!
