Those two are SO silly.
JUMPING AROUND!
So much fun! He was fearless on the slides.
Ava is pretty scared of heights but she did a good job of testing herself and continuing to have fun!
The birthday girl!
We also headed into the gorge with our friends and hiked two trails. The first one was a pretty easy hike for everyone that ended in a super cool waterfall and place to chill out in the water for a bit. It was gorgeous out there and despite the heat pretty tolerable! Unless you were Andy with a 30lb kid strapped to your back (sorry Andy!). The second one was INSANE! But so rad! You had to climb over this huge log jam and gigantic rock to get into a somewhat dried up riverbed. I was freaking out to be honest! Especially when you see signs of danger warning you before you go in. But it was such an adreneline rush! I wish I took a picture of what we climbed over because it was so nuts. Thanks to A and J&L because I'm such an inside girl I was of no help to get the kids over it and they had to navigate 5 kids though it. But once you got over the jam it was this narrow riverbed that sometimes got about waist deep of water. The kids had such a good time. Mason was kicking his feet through it and just laughing and laughing as was Ava. At the end was a super huge waterfall! It was GOOD TIMES for this family!
Comfy in the car.
Ok so we fed her lunch.........but somehow the cup was a tasty snack after? WHAT?
Super pretty!
Mason was still a little tired. He didn't get a really long nap.
Putting a little Captain in the mountains
This is the waterfall we hiked to!
I was so pleased we made it!
Neat tree
Mason LOVED the rocks! Until he tried throwing them - that was not cool.
This is just classic! HA HA!
Me so relieved we all made it through that log jam alive!
Mason fell and he couldn't get up!
Ava and Andy freezing their booty tooties off
