Yesterday was Mason's 2nd Birthday! I can't even believe it's been 2 years already until I stop and think about it and realize how much has gone on and then it hits me. HOLY CRAP it's been a crazy couple of years. But alas we're all still here smiling somehow so you know what? It is what it is and that is that. Our baby boy is so big now though thinking about that little man he was when he was born. I swear he looks more like a 3 year old than a 2 year old. He's just solid. At this point he's only 5lbs lighter than his sister and about a head shorter than her. He's been binky free for a week now! GO MASON! His speech has improved so much in that short amount of time as well. Our once super quiet little dude has an opinon and boy is he expressing it. It's good though even if Andy and I sometimes think different. And he's showing a great disgust in his diapers all of the sudden. I think we're going to start in on training him when we get home from our trip. He's such a cuddle bug and gives the hugest hugs those little baby arms can give. He makes life better by being here. He was the HUGEST surprise that Andy and I ever received and his arrival definately set off a lot of plans we had made but in the end I think we're better off and stronger off by having him. And he made this family complete. I just love him and am so grateful that I get to be his mom.
Mason got to celebrate his birthday by going to Chuck E Cheese. Ava and him were SO excited. And even more excited when Jojo got there. Us four adults were just afraid the pizza was going to give us digestion issues - which I know it did me! Anyways.........heeeheehee! They had a blast! Mason was stuck to the basketball shooting hoops machine the entire time! And when he wasn't playing it he just wanted to watch them. He's going to make his Papa very proud with that I think because he inherited his love of basketball. And Ava loved the playground tunnels to climb through. I can't believe we've avoided that place for so long but we were glad the kids had such a good time. Poor Mason cried the whole way home becuase he was so sad he had to leave.

The birthday cake he took to daycare to share. It was very yummy!
So excited to come home to presents!
Daddy showing him the ropes to his new fire truck.
Please note my phone.......This was Auntie Mindy and Uncle Pat plus Sophia and Aurora singing him Happy Birthday! He did so good talking to everyone that called him to wish him a happy birthday!
"Driving" while waiting for our friends to get to Chuck E Cheese
He rocked this game!
He was not a fan of the moving rides though. He was like get me off this thing NOW!
His crowning glory! he's such a dude. He'll be the guy who goes on a date with his girlfriend and has to sit facing the TV so he doesn't miss the game. Or who knows........maybe he'll be a Blazer! ;)
BFF's all the way
Ava loved this ride too
He did enjoy the merry-go-round though! He waved like a champ everytime he went aroud!
Poor thing couldn't peddle this and I couldn't figure out how to move the seat up. But it looked cool!
My handsome 2 year old boy
More presents!
He gave up and wanted to watch more basketball so Ava took over - gladly of course.
