Woah Nelly!

This has been the most insane couple of days for me! I left yesterday for a week long work trip and we had the day from hell yesterday. Our plane left at 6am and we were due in to Cleveland at 3:30pm. NO problem - except when we got to Chicago they changed the size of our airplane kicking us out of our seats and the only way to get to Cleveland was via Charlotte, NC. We literally did a diagonal across the US to get to Ohio! And tonight I'm sitting in Minneapolis! Needless to say I'm beyond tired at this point and can't even sleep so here I am blogging. Today when I got off the plane in MN they had gate checked our baggage and they told me mine fell off the plane. I was like excuse me? I had visions of our plane pooping my suitcase! It was hilarious. Luckily they picked it off with general baggage claim and I just had to go downstairs to get it.
I did get to see Lake Erie today which was pretty amazing. The entire thing was frozen over! It was gorgeous! And we're like literally next door from the Mall of America right now. So I'm sure we'll roam that tomorrow a little. It's a little weird being in the city that my mom and dad almost moved to. I can't wait to explore a little more and see what could have been. I'm glad after all the flights the past two days to be in the same city for a few days and am counting the moments to get home to my monkeys. They drive me crazy but man do I love them and miss them.


Andy and the kids are holding up the home front pretty good. Everyone seems in high spirits and Andy's even been early to daycare the past few days. Both of us don't sleep well with out each other so we're both facing some insomnia a little. Tonight we realized that we were both waking up at the same times last night. Ava was all excited because she got Chili Spaghetti for dinner which was an extra special treat.

Another special treat for breakfast - we felt bad Cooper knocked Ava down the stairs - she's OK but man did it scare the pants off me.

Our daycare sent me these today! It made my day! She knew I was missing my kids at this point!



Audio time? I don't know but they think it's fun.



No clue but based on the concentration it was of top priority. I love 4 year olds!



So 3 of us are in Cleveland/Minneapolis this week from work. 2 of us are in SD. Those jackasses emailed us this picture and titled it: "SUCKERS!" Yeah....they earn the title of jackass for that one seeing as we had this........
