Young Grasshoppers: BEST TIME EVER!

The Tahoe trip worked out better than expected! The journey was half the fun and once we got there it was just fantastic. I love when you think something is a brilliant idea and then you go and actually do it and it blows the top off your expectations. That was our vacation. We saw pretty much every piece of landscape imaginable (minus tropical) and the Hyatt lived up to it's pictures. They think of everything there! We even got robes to go to the pool in. We were feeling pretty pimp. The food was FANTASTIC! The private beach was beautiful. The snow was so much fun. The room was so cozy and had a great view of the pool. We were SO glad Michelle and Mitchell made the trip and that our friends Jhentry and Rik drove in for some dinner. It was so nice to catch up with them and finally meet their beautiful girls. Andy surprised the pants off me and scheduled us for a massage for my mother's day present, too. He's been such a romantic lately and I am thoroughly enjoying it! Our cup just runeth over this past weekend!

First we saw our normal rainy forest

Then we went to snow

So glad to be out in the big wide open space

Then we went through desert in the spring which is my favorite....forgot the high desert but you can imagine

And landed in Reno! Ava was so excited that this hotel was her signature pink! We were supposed to camp but Klamath Falls is nasty.........and we had it in us to drive another 5 hours so we did it!
