So, last Fall I was due to go on a girl's weekend with my very best girlfriends in the world. Fate crapped on that like a fly on....well you know what. It was a major bummer. But....it panned out to be turned into a great family weekend in Tahoe 7 months later! And quite honestly Fate ended up being right. I needed to stay where I was and we needed to put in some hard hard work on what was there and its totally paying off to epic awesomeness of a life. Hard work, forgiveness, patience, and love pays off as far as I'm concerned.
So when my neighborhood friends pulled together a beach trip for one of us moving away and to celebrate a few of us having May birthdays I leaped at the chance. In a way it felt like a reward for surviving the past year of my life. It was a little more closure that I've been desperately seeking so I can let go of the past and just LET IT BE and move on. Sort of like I was being rewarded for whats been transpiring the past 8 months by getting back that girls weekend that I had to give up in the Fall. I've got some fantastic friends and it was just so much fun. I think we all wished we could just move in and buy houses there. If only Lincoln City had a revenue producing industry for our families to find jobs there! And besides the outlets were to die for. Seriously....$2.99 bins to rummage through - YES PLEASE! Can't wait to do it again!

| I also took a "me" road trip. I opted out of the carpool to just enjoy some music and the open road. It felt great! |
| The drive to the coast is so peaceful |
| There is nothing better than seeing the ocean again after an extended break from it. When you grow up living less than half an hour away from it and then move several hours inland from it you tend to get withdrawal. |
| This is totally my dream house |
| and dream neighborhood |
| The beach is right up those stairs |
| And I was so excited! I saw this house on House Hunters! It was crazy to see it in person! |
| Comfy comfy living room |
| Perfect sized kitchen |
| we had lunch at this place called Kyllos where I had the best crabcakes and clam chowder ever |
| The group - this was really cute. There was across the street a group of older women having their own girl's weekend. They've been coming annually for forever and as this was our first year doing it we joked we'd be them in 15 years. They were the funniest group of girls razzing each other the whole time they were taking pictures with all our cameras. |
| It was the perfect weekend to ring out being 30! |
