Girls Weekend Away!

 Ava and I just got back from a long weekend in San Diego! My little sister was graduating from high school and it was always the plan for me to go but we weren't sure if we could swing anyone else going. Last month I got the genius idea of surprising everyone and taking Ava, too! It was a good one! Michelle knew as did a few others but mostly nobody knew. We arrived Friday morning and blew away Nana and Mimi! I had come up with a winner of an idea!!! They were all so happy! We all had the most relaxing nice time spending time with family and friends and enjoyed every second of the trip. It was really fun to have some one-on-one time with just Ava.  She's such a great kid and sometimes with life and two kids and working all the time you don't get the time to sit back and notice it. I was happy to be able to this weekend. Lauren's graduation was probably the most entertaining one I've ever been to as well.  We're so proud of Lauren and can't wait to see what life has in store for her. And know she's going to be fabulous. I'm glad I was able to be there to watch her walk across that stage!

Pop-pop took Ava for a little while and brought her back with an entire watermelon - Just cuz..........I loved it! They had fun making music together!

And it seemed like the boys had a blast together too back at home
