It's Times Like These....

It's times like these that just make you smile. The kids have been hilarious. The weather was fantastic and we got to enjoy the company of good people. We got to sleep in till 9AM both weekend days!!!!!!!! It's been a fun and relaxing and warm couple of days. We actually have color back to our skin again.  Our friend hooked us up with a bike trailer yesterday and we all got to take our first family bike ride. We being true to ourselves biked to Sonic.......I'm sure that's some sort of oxymoron but whatever it was it was good fun and we did go to the park after that so that has to count for something!  Ava got a new bike this weekend since she has long since outgrown her old one and she did awesome navigating through crosswalks and was a superstar at following Andy to keep safe. I can't wait do to it more often! It's so much fun!

Watching Daddy's softball game

They got bored so we played on the grass while the game went on

I love this baby girl so much and she's looking so old

As is he!
Ava got invited to her friend's pony party. It was at a rescue farm and they use the money from the parties for the horses. This poor BOY horsey got dressed as princess - can't you just see the defeat in his eyes? He was so cute though and very gentle.

Check out his buck teeth! I love this mini horse!!

She looks so big to me until I see her in a group of older girls. Then she's so tiny again! Guess a year makes a big difference!

Ava's face looks like she did something bad

So here she is on Princess..........then she fell off. She was grinning and took it like a champ but poor thing! The saddle slid right off!

New bike!! She's really embracing ballet - can you tell? I wanted her to take the summer off and take swimming but she would not oblige.

Mr M. was so proud of his trailer - while eating lunch he kept pointing at it and saying proudly "MY BIKE! MY BIKE!"

Chill time

major chill time - this boy was pooped! he woke up sweaty and disheveled and looked like a bum roommate asking for food. He cracks us up!
